Mrs. Chaney is a dedicated and experienced principal at Southeast Lauderdale Middle School. With an impressive tenure of 13 years at SEMS and 5 years as head administrator, she has shown exemplary leadership and commitment to the school community. With a total of 14 years in education, Mrs. Chaney's passion for fostering growth and development is evident in her extensive educational background. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, a Master's Degree in Counseling, and a Master's Degree in School Administration. Currently pursuing a Doctorate in Rural Educational Leadership and Organization Change, Mrs. Chaney continues to deepen her expertise to better serve her school community. Mrs. Chaney is eagerly looking forward to another great year at SEMS. Her excitement is fueled by the collective dedication of the staff to make a positive impact on students' lives. With enthusiasm, she anticipates witnessing the amazing work the staff will do together, creating a nurturing and enriching learning environment.
