Meet Mrs. Ethridge
As a proud alumnus of Southeast High School, graduating in 2005, I am honored to serve our students and community as a school counselor. With 13 years of experience in education, I bring a diverse background to this role, including seven years in high school counseling, four years in middle school teaching, and two years in middle school counseling. Prior to joining the Southeast family, I also served as the ATOD Coordinator at Weems for four years, focusing on youth prevention and education programs.
I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in school counseling, which have equipped me to support students in various areas, including school wide Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), short-term individual counseling, small group counseling, academic and career planning, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) through initiatives like "Catch a Tiger by the Tail."
On a personal note, I have been married to my husband, Caleb—also a Southeast graduate—since 2010. Together, we have two wonderful sons, Jace and Max. As both a counselor and a member of this community, my passion is helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally to achieve their fullest potential.
